Special-edition sedan limited to just 200 units, Australian launch unconfirmed.
The Maserati Ghibli Ribelle has been revealed for European markets, sporting a black and red theme with special trim elements inside and out.
Just 200 examples have been allocated to the region, set to go on sale from October. The Ghibli Ribelle will also be offered with all three available powertrains for the medium sports sedan – meaning it can be had with a 205kW V6 turbo-diesel and two versions of the twin-turbo V6 (260kW and 320kW) co-developed with Ferrari.
Special appointments on the exterior include the ‘Nero Ribelle’ metallic paint, 19-inch ‘Proteo’ black alloys with laser-etched red details, and red-painted brake calipers.
Inside, there’s two-tone black/red leather upholstery, contrasting red top-stitching, 12-way electric front seat adjustment with memory, and a chromed aluminium badge with Ribelle logo.
Those wanting to further enhance their Ghibli Ribelle can opt for the Ribelle Plus package, which incorporates laminated privacy windows – which claim to improve thermal and sound insulation – adaptive matrix LED headlights, a premium Harman Kardon audio system, along with a powered sunroof.
Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, though the company has confirmed the Ghibli Ribelle will go on sale in Europe from October.
The limited-edition is reserved for ‘EMEA’ markets only – specifically the European, Middle Eastern and African regions – meaning it’s not on the cards for Australia.
