Ongoing promotion available while stocks last
Citroen’s local division has announced a new drive-away deal for the recently-launched C3 hatchback, which is now available from $23,990 drive-away.
Normally listed at $23,490 before on-road costs, the new deal undercuts the previous $26,990 drive-away deal by $3000 – though unlike the outgoing promotion, it doesn’t include metallic paint.
Regardless, that makes the C3 far more competitive against higher-end rivals in the light car segment, namely the Volkswagen Polo Launch Edition, which is also currently available for $23,990 drive-away.
Citroen Australia has confirmed with CarAdvice that its promotional offer is ongoing, and available “while stocks last”.
Equipment highlights for the C3 include 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, bluetooth phone and audio streaming, USB input, a rear-view camera with rear parking sensors, the company’s eye-catching Airbumps exterior trim, along with ‘Grey Mica’ cloth trim.
On the safety front, the C3 comes with lane-departure warning and traffic sign recognition, in addition to six airbags. Driver-assistance tech like autonomous emergency braking, however, is unavailable in Australia – contributing to the C3’s recent four-star safety rating.
Plenty of no-cost and cost options are available for those who wish to personalise their Citroen further. Free add-ons include black alloys, contrasting roof colours, or a body-coloured roof panel.
Extra-cost items include metallic paint ($590), Almond Green solid paint ($290), Urban Red interior ($150), Hype Colorado interior ($400), the Citroen ConnectedCAM ($600), along with a panoramic glass roof ($600).
