Interior of new crossover has appeared online completely undisguised
Thanks to ever more revealing prototypes, we have a pretty good idea what the next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLE will look like from the outside. And now, with these undisguised photos of the crossover’s interior, we’ve got a good idea about its cabin too.
These authentic-looking images were posted online by Mercedes-Fans, although it’s not clear how the German website managed to get hold of them.
Like the new A-Class, the upcoming GLE features a completely digital instrumentation screen and an infotainment display mounted together on one floating black slab.
Given the GLE’s extra width and height, the, presumably, two 12.3-inch screens doesn’t look quite as massive as they do in the A-Class. The company has also opted for a squarer and more formal design theme for the popular crossover.
As promised, the A-Class’ new MBUX infotainment system, including its touchpad controller in the centre tunnel, is beginning to filter through to other model lines.
The new GLE will ditch its current platform for the lighter and more efficient MHA architecture, and should be available with all of the company’s latest technology.
