Four-door coupe to be priced from $131,900 in both petrol and diesel guise when it touches down in November.
Audi has revealed local pricing and specs for its upcoming 2019 A7 Sportback, which will kick off at $131,900 before on-road costs when it touches down in November.
The range will start at with the 50TDI quattro, powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel making 210kW and 600Nm. It’s put to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, while a new 48V mild-hybrid system allows the cars to coast between 55km/h and 160km/h, automatic start/stop up to 22km/h, and 12kW of energy recuperation under braking.
Sitting alongside the A7 50TDI is the 55TFSI quattro, also priced at $131,900 before on-roads. Power comes from a 3.0 litre V6 turbo petrol, putting out 250kW and 500Nm. It’s put to the road through quattro all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Standard semi-autonomous safety kit includes a head-up display, adaptive cruise control with stop&go, a 360-degree camera, autonomous emergency braking for forward and reverse, along with lane-keeping assist.
Inside, MMI Navigation with ‘touch response’ (the lower touchscreen for climate control) is standard, along with the Virtual Cockpit instrument binnacle. The front seats (sports units, electrically adjustable – naturally) are heated, and they’re trimmed in Valcona leather upholstery. Audi’s fancy 3D sound system, developed by Bang & Olufsen, is also standard fit.
Both 50TDI and 55TSI models ride on 20-inch wheels with adaptive suspension as standard, while Matrix LED lighting is also included. Regardless of trim, you’ll get the S Line exterior package as standard.
A four-cylinder 45TFSI will arrive in 2019, with 180kW and 370Nm on tap. Pricing is yet to be announced.
