The facelifted 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Course Coupe and Cabriolet vary have been disclosed this week, forward of an Australian introduction in August.
Headlining the mid-lifestyle improve is a revised style, the availability of a digital instrument cluster, and new gentle-hybrid ‘EQ Boost‘ know-how for choose powertrains – essentially, all the things from the new sedan and wagon.
Other updates incorporate new LED headlamps as standard, with optional Multibeam LED units, new alloy wheel styles, new exterior colors, a 10.25-inch central infotainment method, new steering wheel, the availability of the company’s new Dynamic System Manage suspension system, and driver-help units from the more substantial S-Class.
At its European start in July, the core C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet line-up will be readily available in C200 petrol and C220d diesel guises – additional variants will be out there later on.
The C200 now receives the company’s new EQ Enhance 48V moderate-hybrid program, incorporating a 12kW/160Nm electric motor with a 135kW/280Nm 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol motor.
With the electrified powertrain, the C200 Coupe is capable of finishing the -100km/h dash in 7.9 seconds (8.5s Cabriolet), on its way to a leading speed of 239km/h.
In select markets, the C200 will be accessible with 4Matic all-wheel travel, in both equally coupe and cabriolet forms.
Meanwhile, the C220d receives a 143kW/400Nm 2.-litre turbo-diesel, for a 7.-second 100km/h dash (7.5s Cabriolet) and a claimed major pace of 240km/h.
Mercedes-Benz’s area arm has verified the up-to-date C-Course Coupe and Cabriolet selection will go on sale in Australia from August.
