2018 Holden Commodore diesel recalled

Potential fuel leak could pose a fire hazard in affected models.

GM Holden has issued a recall for diesel versions of the 2018 model-year Commodore over concerns chafing engine parts could spring a fuel leak, posing a fire risk.

The brand reports diesel models could feature a clip on the fuel hose bundle that could rub on the fuel pump return hose.

If the condition occurs, fuel could leak onto the exhaust, which could start a fire.

A total of 31 vehicles are affected by this notice – you can access the VIN list here.

Owners of the recalled vehicles will be contacted by Holden Australia, and will be advised to arrange an appointment with their local dealer to have their Commodore inspected and repaired.
