More gear for less money included in Audi’s mid-year special editions.

Audi has revealed a handful of cut-price limited editions based on the A1, A3, A4 and Q3 through its consumer website, offering more equipment and drive-away pricing.

Kicking off proceedings is the A1 Sportback 1.4TFSI Style Edition, priced from $30,990 drive-away. It gains gains xenon headlights and light washers, LED tail-lights and 17-inch alloy wheels over the 1.4 TFSI Sport on which it’s based. You also get parking sensors at both ends and keyless entry/start.

That’s a significant upgrade over the basic car, which has only rear parking sensors.

Second among the special editions its the A3 Sportback 1.4 TFSI with Style package and metallic paint, priced from $41,900 drive-away. That means you get LED headlights with scrolling indicators, 18-inch alloy wheels, sport suspension and titanium grey exterior inserts to offset the pricier paint finish.

Jumping to the A3 2.0 TFSI sedan, you’ll pay $48,900 drive-away. It gains the Technik Package, Assistance Package and metallic paint as standard, which brings a higher-grade infotainment system with Virtual Cockpit, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, auto high-beam, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and auto hold.

If SUVs are more your thing, the Q3 2.0 TFSI quattro sport – now an ‘outgoing’ model – is being offered with the Technik Package from $51,990 drive-away. That means you get MMI navigation plus, Audi park assist and an uprated sound system over the base car.

Finally, the A4 2.0 TFSI Black Edition (top) is priced from $60,990 drive-away. The car gains black design highlights on the outside, 19-inch alloy wheels, the S Line exterior and interior packages, privacy glass and LED welcome lighting over the standard version, as Audi prepares to bring in the facelifted A4 sedan and Avant early next year.

The drive-away offers will be available until October 31, or when stocks are depleted.

We’ll update the story with images of each special edition when they become available.
